UK and European premieres are among the films confirmed for the 2015 Scotland Loves Anime programme. The festival, which takes place at Glasgow Film Theatre October 5-11, is returning for its sixth consecutive year and will feature 16 films being shown over 13 days in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
Glasgow will host a number of UK premieres including ‘Miss Mokausai’ which will be presented by director Keeichi Hara, who will also host a Q&A afterwards.

Other premieres include ‘Empire of Corpses’, a feature set in 19th century London featuring well-known characters John Watson and Victor Frankenstein, and ‘Boruto: Naturo the Movie’ which is set after the end of the long-running franchise.
Jonathan Clements, the author of ‘Anime: A History’, will also introduce the first Scottish screening of ‘Dragonball Z - Resurrection F'. The fest will also feature the European premiere of both parts of the live action film of ‘Attack on Titan’ - with the second part screening exclusively as the closing film of the Glasgow weekend.
