Time Out says

Another year, another film from the Korean master of character-deconstructing drama, Hong Sang-soo. He may not be a familiar name (most of his films fail to find a UK distributor), but this wry, hyperintelligent director is becoming a familiar face on the festival circuit: his films often premiere at Cannes (2010’s ‘HaHaHa’ even won the Prix Un Certain Regard), and last year saw him receive a full retrospective at the BFI. ‘In Another Country’ is Hong’s first film in English (mostly), and features Isabelle Huppert as three women, all called Anne, who each visit the same seaside town and have encounters with the people who live there. Huppert has described working with Hong as ‘unexpected and original’ – a fairly good description for his work, as well.
