Time Out says

Does the world need another comedy about weddings? Co-written and co-produced by Noel Clarke, who also has a supporting role, ‘The Knot’ gives us Matthew McNulty and Talulah Riley as two Londoners who encounter various obstacles, physical and emotional, on the way to the altar. There are echoes of ‘The Hangover’ and ‘Bridesmaids’ in its depictions of male and female banter, and there are base laughs, mostly involving toilets and hackneyed depictions of West Africans and Spaniards. But weddings are such easy fare for cinema that it’s tough to find new ways of looking at the heightened feelings and mishaps that come with getting hitched. ‘The Knot’ mostly plumps for the usual clichés and stereotypes.
