The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence)

The depraved sexual fantasies of Martin (Laurence R Harvey), an underground car park security guard unhealthily obsessed with Tom Six's original film, are brought to life in self-consciously arty monochrome. This version is minus the two minutes and 37 seconds of footage excised by the BBFC. Sample cut: Martin wraps his penis in barbed wire before violating the woman at the rear of the 12-segment human centipede he has bodged together using a staple-gun and lots of gaffer tape. The early scenes depicting Martin’s alienated existence – mundane nocturnal job, nagging mother, predatory shrink, cramped flat – are effectively bleak. However, in stark contrast to the original’s cool, clinical horror, Martin’s cack-handed creation of the arse-to-mouth creature is played for cheap, sick slapstick laughs. And once the scatological conga line starts to fall apart, so too does Six’s censor-baiting film.
