The Flaming Lips, The Waterboys and James will headline a series of open air Summer Nights gigs at the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens this August.
The Edinburgh gigs are an extension of the outdoor Summer Nights series held at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Bandstand, which was relaunched last year following refurbishment. Glasvegas, Echo and the Bunnymen, Ben Folds, King Creosote, Roddy Frame and Joan Armatrading are on the line-up for this year’s Glasgow edition.

Tickets for the gigs go on sale from 9am on Fri Mar 20, priced £36.55-£45.
