'Mary Poppins', 'Guardians of the Galaxy', 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', 'The Princess Bride' and Tim Burton's 'Batman' are among the films lined up for Film in the City 2015, the free outdoor cinema series leading up to the Edinburgh International Film Festival. As with last year's event, the screenings will be split across two locations: dance-along programme Let's Face the Movies and Dance will take place outside Dance Base at the foot of the Grassmarket on Saturday June 6 & Sunday June 7, while St Andrew Square will host (mainly) family-friendly blockbuster fare from Friday June 12-Sunday June 14. It's worth repeating: both events are free (though expected to fill up fast).
