Editors

After hitting the top two spots on the album chart with every record they'd released so far, Brummie miserablists Editors only managed Number Six with their last release, 'The Weight Of Your Love'. Following the departure of their original guitarist Chris Urbanowicz, the remaining members (plus a couple of new recruits) have enlisted a string section to accompany their gloomy, post-punk-referencing indie rock – with limited success. Whatever you think of their current music, though, they have form and experience as a spine-tingling live act.
