Time Out says

Celebrate National Poetry Month with the whole family at this Poetry Foundation Open House from 10am–3pm. This special event features readings by Young People’s Poet Laureate Jacqueline Woodson, winner of the 2014 National Book Award for her memoir in verse, Brown Girl Dreaming. Plus, everyone can enjoy refreshments and a bevy of fun activities for kids and teens. Staff from the Art Institute of Chicago will also be on-hand to create mini dioramas that celebrate the popular exhibit, Van Gogh's Bedrooms. Jacqueline Woodson will read at 10am for children 9 and younger and at 1:30pm for youths ages 10 and up. She will also read for adults at 7pm.
