The first ever Great Chicago Fire Festival was meant to honor the city's grit following the landmark fire that wiped out homes and businesses in 1871. Unfortunately, the festival's centerpiece, presented by Redmoon, in which structures floating on the Chicago River were set ablaze, didn't go as planned. With only one of the elements successfully catching fire, spectators of this inaugural event were left disappointed.
