When Tom Ford directed the movie A Single Man a few years back, many wondered if he was leaving the fashion industry for Hollywood. That’s not the case at all, as the designer opened a new namesake boutique in the Gold Coast. (And plans to open more outposts in key US cities). The sleek space (think high ceilings, mirrored columns and marble floors) features just about everything the Tom Ford brand has to offer: accessories, fragrances, eyewear and men’s and women’s clothing. Upstairs in the VIP salon, clients can enjoy a private bar and luxe fitting room.
