Regional Piedmontese cuisine is Osteria Langhe's focus, and that means ingredients like truffles, cream and eggy pastas appear on this streamlined menu. The Takito Kitchen team opens its second location, Bar Takito, in the old Kabocha space in the West Loop. There will be more tacos and margaritas, but the menu is more expansive than the original, with large plates, seafood grilled on a plancha and a larger drink list.
Bill and Giuliana Rancic, Doug Psaltis and Lettuce Entertain You (RPM Italian) have opened their second group venture, RPM Steak, their take on a steakhouse. The menu features an array of steaks, chops, seafood and souffles.
Shakers on Clark, which replaced cabaret bar 3160, is a neighborhood bar with drink specials, live music, TVs, pool, darts, and the ultimate neighborly amenity—phone chargers at the bar.
