Mexican cuisine in Humboldt Park/Logan Square is as commonplace as fireworks on Puerto Rican Independence Day. But beyond taquerias, options are fairly limited, which is why this spot is so welcome. The menu is full of refreshingly different dishes like plantain-filled enchiladas with mole sauce; side salads topped with guava dressing; and chile en nogada—a poblano pepper filled with ground beef, fruit and nuts. Not to mention the decor is attractive and the waitstaff is eager to please.
