From 1957 to 1967, Chess Records studio and recording company supported musicians such as Chuck Berry, Etta James, Buddy Guy and Aretha Franklin. Now the building is this nonprofit dedicated to documenting and promoting the art of blues. Stop in the store or tour the old, well-preserved stomping grounds of Leonard and Phil Chess.
