Slo ’Mo from Homo: A Digital Dance Party

Long running Logan Square party Slo 'Mo lost its venue when the Whistler was forced to close its doors by the Illinois "stay-at-home" order, but that won't stop the music and dancing. Party purveyor Kristen Kaza is hosting another live streaming edition of the monthly LGBTQ+ event from her living room, complete with R&B, disco, hip-hop and house music sets from DJs VITI GRRL and Audio Jack, as well as dance lessons provided by Darling Shear. Anyone watching the streaming soirée can send in a request or share photos and video from their living room dance party by using the hashtag #slomofromhomo. You can stream the event via Facebook or Instagram and purchase a $5 "ticket" to raise money for performers and support the Whistler's staff.
