Anticipation for baseball season in Chicago is approaching fever pitch this week, and while the Cubs are enjoying World Series projections, the White Sox are going out of their way to make sure that fans are equally excited about the South Side team's upcoming season. Today, the Bite Sox food truck will visit the Loop, providing free samples of some the most delicious menu items being served at U.S. Cellular Field this year.

If you can tear yourself away from your desk, you'll be able to queue up in front of the truck for complimentary samples of all-beef hot dogs, bratwurst, bacon on a stick, ballpark nachos and peanuts. You can track the truck via the @whitesox Twitter account or by using the #BiteSox hashtag. The Bite Sox food truck is scheduled to appear at the following locations this afternoon.

-Michigan and Lake at 11am
-Michigan and Monroe at 12:10pm
-Clark and Monroe at 2:30pm
-Wacker and Adams at 4pm
