A new Taco Bell is opening up this summer in Wicker Park, diluting the selection of great taco joints that can be found in the neighborhood. What sets this particular Taco Bell apart from the chain's 6,500 other locations, however, is the possibility that you can also buy alcohol alongside the restaurant's traditional Mexican cuisine choices such as Cheesy Gordita Crunches and Cinnamon Twists.

According to Eater, management for the restaurant, which will open at 1439 N Milwaukee Avenue, has applied for a liquor license in hopes that it will be the first Taco Bell in the world to serve alcohol. No further details have been given regarding the liquor license application or what the alcohol selection would be. No matter what Taco Bell decides to serve, it will surely be a hit with Wicker Park patrons after a night of heavy drinking. The new location could serve as a one-stop shop for getting drunk off Mountain Dew Baja Blast cocktails then ordering a Party Pack of tacos to sober up before stumbling back home.

However, if you're in Wicker Park and looking to drink and eat tacos, there's a plethora of local bars and taco places that you should visit instead of going to Taco Bell, even if you are drunk enough to consider eating their "food."
