For the past six years, local promoters React Presents—who also have a hand in organizing Spring Awakening, Mamby on the Beach and North Coast Music Festival—have thrown an annual, EDM Halloween party called Freaky Deaky. In 2014, the event brought Flux Pavilion and Nervo to the Aragon Ballroom for two nights of DJ sets and Halloween costumes (check out our photos from the party).

This year, Freaky Deaky is expanding, giving up its traditional Uptown digs and moving south to Bridgeview, where the event will take up residence for three consecutive days in Toyota Park. It's also bringing in even bigger headliners, include Bassnectar and 2 Chainz on Friday; Armin Van Buuren and Big Gigantic on Saturday; and Pretty Lights and Carnage on Sunday. The undercard is equally strong, boasting names like Action Bronson, A-Trak, Benny Benassi, Flying Lotus, Keys N Krates, Riff Raff and Vic Mensa. Essentially, it's the Fall Awakening (Slumbering?) Music Festival.

Tickets are currently on sale for the three-day event (which will also feature spooky decor and haunted houses, naturally), with prices ranging from $159–$219. The cost of admission may be a little bit more than in the past, but this year's Freaky Deaky sounds like it's going to be a scary good time.
