Construction on Wrigley Field did not get completed in time for opening day, but Cubs fans can still expect a refreshed lineup of food and drink options at the stadium.
For starters, the park's bringing in a RumChata-themed mobile beverage stand that will feature four new RumChata cocktails. The park will also be serving CH Distillery vodka, which, unlike Old Style, is actually produced locally.
Levy Restaurants will have a rotating selection of food throughout the season, starting with the Joe Maddon Italian Hoagie. There will also be a rotating Hot Dog of the Month again this season, the first of which will be a sausage covered with pulled pork, barbecue sauce and coleslaw. The Decade Dog Stand is bringing back last year's 100th anniversary dogs, except they'll be even larger. The Jumbo Decade Dogs will be a footlong and will be available all season long.
Other new additions include Da Burger, a Cuban-style pork burger, and garlic-Parmesan fries. Goose Island IPA will be served at the concession stand for the first time this year, and several new Jack Daniels cocktails are being introduced.
Cubs faithful might not be able to sit in the bleachers for the first two months of the season, but at least they'll have a RumChata cart.
