The Bears weren't anything special to watch on Sunday—the team lost to the Packers by a score of 31-23 in the season opener (thanks in part to perennial mope Jay Cutler throwing a fourth quarter interception). Shortly before Green Bay gave Chicago its annual lakeside spanking, astronaut Scott Kelly tweeted a photo of Soldier Field as seen from the International Space Station.

Kelly is in the middle of a year-long mission on ISS with Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko, and he spends a good chunk of his days tweeting stunning photos from space, presumably to pass the time and prove that he is the more popular of the pair. While Green Bay might have a leg up on Chicago in terms of professional football, no one is taking photos of that godless city from space. The Bears haven't had a championship team in 30 years, but at least Chicagoans can take solace in the fact that their city looks absolutely gorgeous from space.
