Two years after opening its doors in the town, Nicolau Cascais is refreshing its menu in celebration. In total, there are ten new dishes to try at this brunch specialist – whether inside the cosy space or on the sunny terrace, from breakfast to dinner.

Nicolau Cascais now serves scones with butter and jam (€6) and, for the little ones, the Nicolau hot dogs (€6) in brioche buns. Brunch remains the star of the show, with options like the new Nicolau Egg Muffin (€7.20) – featuring crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, and a fried egg – or the vegan Nicolau toast (€6.50), with pumpkin hummus and sautéed mushrooms.

For main dishes and more substantial meals, the focus is on indulgent options like the Mac & Cheese (€9), the xau xau rice (€8), and a salmon salad with wild rice (€14), featuring caramelized nuts, roasted pumpkin, kale, and edamame.

End your meal on a sweet note with the new peanut butter squares (€4.50) or the brûlée-style French toast, made with brioche and burnt custard.
