Over the last few years, Red Bull Music Academy has established itself as real force for good, supporting fledgling talent with studio sessions and workshops and fuelling the electronic music ecosystem with sound clashes, festival stages and intimate club nights.
This spring, RBMA takes its commitment to showcasing and celebrating UK music talent to the road, with the inaugural RBMA UK Tour hitting four cities renowned for their vibrant and ever evolving contribution to the British – and global – musical landscape.
Bristol, Glasgow, London and Manchester will all host a series of events taking in the best of local talent, supported by some of the world’s biggest musical stars.
Here in Bris, there's plenty to get excited about, with the tour hitting town on Easter Weekend of April 2-6. Friday April 3 welcomes Danny Brown, RBMA graduate Mumdance, Novelist & The Square and London hip hop powerhouses Livin' Proof to Bristol for the 'Lords of the Manor' party out in the 'shire at Kings Weston House, before Idle Hands on Stokes Croft is taken over for a RBMA live broadcast with a stellar list of local talent on Saturday, and Arnolfini hosts a very special edition of Just Jack on Sunday.
