Time Out says

Ask anyone who attended the University of Birmingham where to go for breakfast and expect a starry-eyed yet unequivocal response. The Selly Sausage has been filling students’ stomachs since 1991 and shows no signs of being usurped, doing the simple things seriously well, and at particularly agreeable prices.

The Big Breakfast gets you two of just about everything significant plus the Selly Sausage Hash – a guaranteed hangover slayer. The Super Breakfast is for those on the one-meal-a-day diet, and is adeptly described as more of everything. Good luck.

On top of the leviathan brekkies, decent pancakes, burgers and jacket potatoes all come in at less than a fiver, so you'll be unsurprised to hear that the place is constantly busy.
