The Institute entertains the masses weekly, hosting club nights and live events

Time Out says

A 2,900 capacity venue, The Institute has three main rooms: an auditorium with a capacity of 2,000 called ‘The Institute’, ‘The Library’ downstairs which holds up to 600 people and a 300-capacity upstairs room called ‘The Temple.’

The Institute entertains the masses weekly, hosting a great number of live events, from highly recognised musicians to burlesque shows. It's an important venue in the city, offering a variety of different live entertainment options to the people of Birmingham. The institue is the original home of Brummie mega-rave Godskitchen and has hosted numerous other club nights, such as Atomic Jam, Uproar and indie staple Ramshackle.

The Institute – owned my MAMA Group – has undergone a big refurbishment in recent years and is now quite rightly considered an essential part of Birmingham’s live music and club scene. It's a venue that everyone should experience.
