Chesterfields, Victorian tiles, a full-size red telephone booth and an illuminated tree are just some of the things you’ll find at Bitters ’n Twisted’s JQ outpost.
With regular happy hours lasting distinctly longer than 60 minutes, you can afford to take a risk and try something outside of the ordinary, like the Aero Martini – creme de menthe shaken with white chocolate liquor and cream. Not convinced? No problem – US craft beers are generously represented at the RVT.
An ideal spot for impressing out-of-towners, with big beats and an interesting crowd, the RVT is reasonably busy on any day, at any time. The atmosphere is buzzy throughout the weekend and whenever the sun comes out – the modest outdoor seating area is hard won – and there's also a beer garden at the back of the pub.
We liked the menu more before it was given a US overhaul, but give it a go if you’re in the mood for diner-style nosh.
