With its fantastic views of Pigeon Rocks and the sea beyond it is hard not to be delighted by the location of this Beirut café. Inside is pleasant and spacious enough, but it’s really all about sitting outside, in the sun, looking down from the cliff tops to the Pigeon Rocks below. There is bountiful space for seating, so you’ll rarely struggle to find a spot.
The menu offers a mixture of Lebanese and international food, including mezze, grill, pizza and pasta. You’d be silly not to ask about their daily fresh fish and it’s always worth enquiring about their plat du jour as well. Have a smartphone at the ready for snapping pics and selfies of the amazing view and the long stretch of azure ocean behind you.
