After rolling out our short list of the 50 best burgers in L.A., we asked you to narrow it down by voting on your favorites.

Yesterday at La Plaza de Cultura y Artes, the 11 top contenders fired up their grills and served their stacked creations to the hungry attendees at L.A.'s inaugural Battle of the Burger, presented by Guinness Blonde American Lager. Burger fans went from restaurant to restaurant—in between stops at the Cholula Hot Sauce flavor station and sips of Topo Chico sparkling water—to taste them all and cast their votes for their favorite.

Well, the results are in, and we're excited to announce that the winner of Battle of the Burger 2017 is Beacon Echo Park's Wagyu Burger. Melted brie cascades down the side of this plump American-wagyu patty, topped with caramelized onions and roasted garlic aioli. As if this burger wasn't delicious enough on its own, if you savor it at the sunny café, you get to enjoy the burger with a waterfront view of Echo Park Lake.

Congrats to all those standout burger joints who participated; we're sure you'll want to add all of them to your culinary to-do list after checking out the photos below from Battle of the Burger.
